Sod the walkways! Look at that rifle! It's pure gun porn.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Lose the scope and I'd agree Pete... I keep wondering how I could warrant a full-length airsoft mosin nagant... but with the PPsh already I just can't come up with a good reason...

Because rifle are loads better then SMGs?
From a purely playing point of view, the sniper version would be much easier to cock when fitted with a beefier spring, than the standard bolt version. Also, it's a 5 second job to remove the scope anyway. I want one!

lol... I like my ppsh... not parting with it.
Interestingly, that 91/30 pictured is a real rifle, be it live or deactivated. Its not a Zeta. Bolt, striker, lack of hole for hop adjustment, markings, etc are a dead give away. Gun porn? Yes! Airsoft....naw! Interested to see how good a job they do of it though. Might see if I can get a spare cylinder/bolt with the turned down bolt handle and do the rest myself with my 91/30!

Yes, but a a real MN91/30 doesn't cost 50 dollars to make, that is just its value now. You can buy a stunning piece of 18thC furniture at auction for a couple of hundred quid yet to make exquisite craftsmanship like that today would cost ten times that or more.
Silly prices, no I don't think so. Hand made, low volume kit like airsoft rifles could never be cheap as chips. A cheap rifle is a Dboys and I think we want something better than that!

...but I still think they price those things a bit too much in excess for what they are...
Heh, I'd agree, all airsoft guns cost too much for what they are. £500 for a toy gun? It's madness, that's true, but we are masters at rationalising and justifying our purchases. Excuses I have given myself - I can get my money back if I sell it; even if I lose money it will have only worked out at £10 per game; I'll actually be able to hit a target with this gun; it's the last gun I need to complete my impressions; it was a bargain. Etc etc. The reality, the truth, is just we want it. And if the cash is there (one way or another) then it WILL be bought!
While I have no need for (or desire to) buy this gun, more choice and a wider choice has to be a good thing for WW2 airsofting. I'm sure we all hope it will cheaper rather than very expensive - price is a big factor on tipping the scales when making a buy/don't buy decision. I guess the best we can hope for is 'reasonably priced'.
I too used to think that airsofts should be much cheaper than the real thing, but when it comes down to it generally there are far more parts in an airsoft gun and they all have to work to a decent degree for the overall system to function well. Couple this up with they are also trying to make it look like something it isn't is quite a chore for the designers to work out.
Designing an AK47 must have been simple compared to designing an airsoft gun to look like one several years back when TM started much of this.
An AK looks like what it is form and function work together.
Hence why airsoft guns take a lot of work to design compared to a paintball gun (marker ) you could stamp Hoover on some of them and I would believe it.
However it is also true to say many airsoft part are just cast alloy and plastic but that is not the case with the Nagant it is steel and a low production gun as said (man in a shed in China or maybe 12 men in a small shed )

Just got my sniper version of the Mosnin Nagant but tI do not like the stock to much, does anyone know where I can get a cheap real steel stock? If it`s in England it would be cheaper to ship to Norway where I live than from the USA, and the americans do not like to ship any gun parts over seas nowadays
